- Can I Download Game From Steam To Multiple Computers To Work
I would like if possible to install Steam at two different locations, physically separate on two different IP addresses (MACs) and can play games purchased. It's my house and my cottage, where I could play on both computers.
BiscuitBakerBest Answer: Yes you can; you can install almost any Steam game on as many computers as you want (some individual games have limits in them). The catch is that you can only be signed in to Steam on one computer/laptop at a time, so you can only play from one place at a time; you can't use this to share an account. You can have steam on multiple computers at once you do not have to wait until one breaks. I have all my games on all my computers. You just cant play them on more than one computer at a time if they require an internet connection.

Short answer: yes, it can be done
As Steam is a cloud service, this is percisely what the platform excells at.
If you have two differents computers, simply install Steam, log into your account, download the games you want and play on. If you have Steam Guard enabled, Steam may ask you to verify the new location by a code sent to you by e-mail.
However, some games may have additional DRM that limits the number of computers the game can be installed on during its lifetime. But these are not tied to Steam or your user account.
Edit: I've been told in the comments that you can now log into same account on multiple computers to use something called In-Home Streaming. You just can't play games on both of them at once. Altough, this seems to be limited to same home network. Anyways, thanks Kexlox.

Just bought a ton of new Steam games? Maybe you're swapping to a new computer and (for whatever reason) need to re-download your collection? Valve just made it a lot easier to batch-install multiple games.
Spotted by Steam Database, a recent Steam update now lets you right-click and install multiple games at the same time instead of going through the install dialogue for each game individually. All you have to do is select the games you want to install in your library—Shift + mouse click or Control + mouse click depending on how much granularity you need—and then right-click one of the highlighted games and hit Install.
The familiar Steam game installation window will pop up, except instead of a single game it will show you all the ones you've selected and how much cumulative space they'll take up on your drive. If you have second thoughts (or selected a game by accident) you can toggle it right from that dialogue screen.
It's a small change, especially compared to the recent UI overhaul and the extraordinary pace at which Valve has put out Steam updates recently, but it's probably the feature I'll use the most. I've got about 700GB free on this hard drive—I might as well fill it up. (And eventually wind up using the newfangled ability to hide games from your Steam library, no doubt.)
